Eastern football foes renew rivalry during Orange Central Weekend
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Syracuse football team returns to the Carrier Dome on Saturday, Oct. 24 for an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup against Coastal Division rival Pittsburgh. The contest between the Orange and Panthers is the centerpiece of Orange Central/Homecoming Weekend and will kick off at noon, the ACC announced on Monday, Oct. 12. The game, which is sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts, will be televised live nationally on ESPNU.

Tickets for the Pitt game start at $30 and are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). In addition, discounted group tickets (20 or more) for all home games can be purchased by calling 315-443-3212.
The Syracuse-Pitt series is the second-longest rivalry in the history of Orange football. The two teams have played 70 times with the Panthers holding a 36-31-3 advantage. The Orange is 10-7-1 at the Carrier Dome against the Panthers, including a 14-13 win in 2012 that represents SU's most recent series triumph.
Syracuse is 3-2 overall and returns to ACC play this Saturday at Virginia. Pitt is 4-1 under first-year head coach Pat Narduzzi. The Panthers play at Georgia Tech this weekend.
