SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- No. 22/-- Syracuse men's soccer team looks to return to its winning ways against Bowling Green on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Start time at the SU Soccer Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m. Admission is free of charge.
The match will be televised by Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and will also be available on ESPN3 and Cuse.com. In addition, live stats will be available on Cuse.com.
SCOUTING THE ORANGE (8-3-1)
Syracuse had its five-game winning streak snapped on Saturday at North Carolina in a 2-1 loss. Freshman Miles Robinson (Arlington, Mass.) posted the lone goal, which is his third of the year. Redshirt junior Liam Callahan (Amherst, N.Y.) recorded an assist on the play. He has posted career highs in points (6), goals (1) and assists (4) this season.
Tuesday's match is the first of four straight home contests for the Orange. Syracuse is 5-0-1 at the SU Soccer Stadium this season.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS (6-5-1)
After winning five of its first six matches to start the season, Bowling Green is 0-4-1 in its last five contests. The Falcons snapped a four-game losing streak with a 2-2 tie against IUPUI on Saturday. Pat Flynn leads Bowling Green in points with 22 on a team-high nine goals and four assists. Joe Sullivan also has reached double figures in points with 16 on six goals and four assists. Ryan Heuton has started 11 matches in goal for the Falcons and has recorded a 1.42 goals-against average and a .636 save percentage.
THE SERIES
Tuesday's match will be the second all-time matchup between Bowling Green and Syracuse. The two teams last played during the 1990 season, with the Falcons recording a 1-0 victory.

The Orange continues its four-game home stand on Saturday, Oct. 17 when it plays No. 5/5 Clemson at the SU Soccer Stadium in a return to ACC play.
