SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 15/-- Syracuse takes to the pitch at SU Soccer Stadium on Friday, Oct. 23 for its final home game of regular-season play against NC State. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. Admission is free of charge. The Orange will celebrate Senior Night on Friday with a pregame ceremony.

SCOUTING THE ORANGE (9-4-2, 2-3-1 ACC)
Syracuse returns to conference play for its final home game of the regular season. It is the last match of a four-game homestead for the Orange. Syracuse is coming off of a 2-2 tie against Hartford on Tuesday. Sophomore midfielder Julian Buescher (Duelmen, Germany) recorded four points in the match. He scored both goals for the Orange, one on a penalty kick resulting from a hand ball in the box.

Syracuse will honor three members of its senior class prior to the start of Friday's match. Juuso Pasanen (Kuopio, Finland), Noah Rhynhart (Albany, N.Y.) and Korab Syla (Yonkers, N.Y.) will play in their final regular-season home game at SU Soccer Stadium.

SCOUTING THE WOLFPACK (8-3-3, 1-2-3 ACC)
The Wolfpack has won two of its last three contests coming into Friday's match. NC State won its final non-conference game of the season, 2-1, against Appalachian State. Zach Knudson leads the Wolfpack in scoring with a 12 points on a team-best five goals and two assists. In addition, Travis Wannemuehler has recorded a team-leading four assists. Goalkeeper Alex McCauley has started all 13 matches in goal for the Wolfpack. He has three shutouts in 2015 as well as a 1.25 goals-against average and .673 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY
Friday's match will be the fourth meeting between the schools. The series is knotted up with each team having a win in the series. Last year's match ended in a 0-0 tie in Raleigh to make the series an even 1-1-1.
