SCOUTING THE ORANGE (8-2-1, 2-1-1 ACC)
Syracuse extended its winning streak to five with a 2-1 victory against Albany at the SU Soccer Stadium on Tuesday. Â Sophomore Julian Buescher has registered at least one point in nine consecutive matches this season. The sophomore was selected as the ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Also contributing to the Orange's offensive unit is junior Ben Polk, who has tallied five goals in the last four matches. Polk scored the game-winning goal against Albany in the 77th minute.

SCOUTING THE TAR HEELS (9-0-1, 4-0-0 ACC)
North Carolina defeated UNC-Wilmington, 3-0, on Tuesday. The victory gives the Tar Heels, which lead the ACC Coastal Division with a 4-0-0 conference record, their best start in program history at 9-0-1.Three Tar Heels have reached double figures in points this season, led by Tucker Hume with 13. He also leads the team in goals with five. Zach Wright is right behind Hume with 12 points and Alan Winn has 11 points. Wright had two goals in the win against UNC-Wilmington. James Pyle has started eight games in goal for North Carolina. He has a 0.53 goals-against average and a .852 save percentage.

THE SERIES
Syracuse and North Carolina will meet for just the second time on Saturday. The Tar Heels won the only other meeting between the two schools in 2013. In that match, North Carolina scored in the 37th minute and recorded a 1-0 victory in Chapel Hill.
