SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse's home stretch continues with a match up against Montana State on Tuesday, Dec. 22. Tip off in the Carrier Dome is set for 7 p.m.

TOP 5 STORYLINES TO FOLLOW
THE TEAMS
Syracuse is coming off a 67-46 win against Cornell on Saturday, which improved its record to 8-3. The Orange held the Big Red to just 20 points in the second half as it pulled away for the victory.

Montana State started its swing through the Empire State at Buffalo on Saturday. The Bulls used a 12-0 run midway through the second half on its way to an 80-73 victory over the Bobcats. The loss dropped Montana State's record to 5-6.

THE SERIES
Tuesday's contest will be the second all-time meeting between Syracuse and Montana State. In the first round of the 1996 NCAA Tournament, the Orange defeated the Bobcats, 88-55, on its way to the Final Four.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Junior Tyler Roberson recorded his second double-double of the season and eighth of his career in Syracuse's win against Cornell. He led the team with 12 rebounds and tied for leading scorer honors with 15 points. Roberson leads the team and ranks eighth in the ACC in rebounding, averaging 8.5 per game.

RICHARDSON BACK ON TRACK
Freshman Malachi Richardson rebounded against Cornell after a tough shooting performance at St. John's. He was 5-for-11 from the floor and 4-for-4 from the free throw line for 15 points. Richardson also pulled down a season-high eight rebounds against the Big Red to go along with one blocked shot and two steals. He has reached double figures in scoring in nine of 11 games this season and ranks third on the team in scoring, averaging 12.7 points per game.

DE-FENSE
Syracuse ranks in the top five in several defensive categories in the latest ACC statistics. The Orange leads the league in steals, averaging 8.9 per game. In addition, Syracuse is fifth in scoring defense (64.3 ppg.), fourth in field goal percentage defense (.387) and third in three-point field goal percentage defense (.316).
