Match Time Set for College Cup Semifianls

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse will play in the first national semifinal at the College Cup on Friday, Dec. 11. Match time is set for 6 p.m. Eastern time. The Orange will face Clemson for the third time this season.
Syracuse defeated Boston College, 1-0, on Saturday to advance to the College Cup for the first time in program history. Syracuse and Clemson split the previous two meetings this season. The Tigers scored with less than a minute remaining in regulation to defeat the Orange, 1-0, on Oct. 17 at the SU Soccer Stadium. The teams met again in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament at Riggs Field. Junior Ben Polk scored twice to lead Syracuse to a 2-0 victory.
Both of Friday's semifinal matches will be televised on ESPNU as will the title game on Sunday, Dec. 13
