Syracuse ties UNC for most all-conference honorees
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Five Syracuse University student-athletes were named to the 2015 All-ACC Men's Lacrosse Team, released on Wednesday, April 22.
Â
Attackmen Dylan Donahue, Kevin Rice, midfielder Nicky Galasso, defenseman Brandon Mullins and faceoff specialist Ben Williams were selected to the 18-person team in a vote of the league's five head coaches who were not permitted to vote for their own players.
Â
The Orange's five honorees matched North Carolina for the most of any school.
Â
Rice and Mullins repeated as All-ACC selections after earning the honor in 2014. Galasso is also a two-time All-ACC honoree. He received all-league plaudits as a freshman at North Carolina in 2011.

Â
Mullins has started all 11 games on close defense. He has 11 ground balls on the season and leads the Orange in caused turnovers (13). Mullins routinely covers the opposing team's top offensive player and anchors an Orange defense that ranks second in the ACC in goals-against average (9.11).
