'Cuse Sends 4x1600 Team to Drake Relays

Orange Take Third
The Syracuse track team sent four of its top milers to the Drake Relays on Thursday night to compete in the 4x1600, an event that's rarely run by the program.
The group of Joel Hubbard, Colin Bennie, Martin Hehir and Justyn Knight took third at the meet with a time of 16:25.15. Oklahoma State won the event at 16:19.47.
Knight and Hehir had each run sub-four minute miles at the Penn State National this season, with Bennie and Hubbard posting times just over the four-minute mark heading into the race.
A number of Syracuse sprinters are at the Penn Relays this weekend, with finals action beginning to get underway on Friday.
'Cuse will also send a group of runners to Cornell as well on Sunday.
