Orange opens 2015 with 4-straight home dates
Orange fans, make your plans! The 2015 football Orange football squad will face Rhode Island at 7 pm on September 4 and will kick off against Wake Forest and Central Michigan at 12:30 on September 12 and 19, respectively.
Syracuse is looking to move to 3-0 all-time against the Rams after defeating URI in the Dome in 2002 and 2011. The Orange defeated the Demon Deacons 30-7 in Winston-Salem, NC last season after Micah Robinson and Robert Welsh each scored defensive touchdowns in the win. Syracuse scored 40 unanswered points in Mount Pleasant, Michigan last season en route to a 40-3 win in the road opener.
The game against Rhode Island will be streamed on ESPN3, while the ACC opener against Wake Forest will be televised on the ACC Network and the Central Michigan game will be carried on RSN.
Tickets for the 2015 season are available online, by phone (888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). In addition, discounted group tickets (20+), with prices as low as $10 each, are available for all home games by calling the Ticket Sales office (443-3212).
