19 NFL Hall of Famers among those in attendance
Syracuse Special Assistant to the Athletics Director and Professional Football Hall of Fame member Floyd Little is helping lead a group of 19 Hall of Famers and other football legends to Israel as part of a week-long trip to grow the game of football.
Little is joined by Patriots owner Robert Kraft, one of the trip's organizers after being approached by Israeli Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer, Tim Brown, Thurman Thomas, Andre Tippett, Jim Taylor, Mike Haynes, Jack Youngblood, Curtis Martin, James Brown, Curley Culp, Raymond Berry and Tom Brady among others.
The trip will include visits with local dignitaries, some scrimmages as well as an interactive program with the Israeli football community and the Hall of Famers at Kraft Stadium in Jerusalem.
On Thursday, the Israel Football League champion Judean Rebels will play Israel's national team in a scrimmage with some of the former players on the trip acting as honorary coaches.
Tickets for the 2015 season are available online, by phone (888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). In addition, discounted group tickets (20+), with prices as low as $10 each, are available for all home games by calling the Ticket Sales office (443-3212).
