7/22/2015 10:31:00 AM | Football
All Syracuse University football fans are invited to a special summer edition of the 'Select-A-Seat' program, which provides an opportunity to walk the Carrier Dome and choose the best available location for 2015 season tickets. A sampling of available seats will be marked in each section, and members of the Carrier Dome Box Office staff will be on hand to assist with the selection process and to answer any questions. The event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Fans are encouraged to RSVP to the Carrier Dome Box Office (mail@carrierdome.com) with the number of people who will attend and an approximate time of arrival.
Â
The annual Orange Fan Fest is Saturday, Aug.15. At the event, all football season ticket holders are invited to enjoy multiple perks, including a complimentary barbecue with fellow season ticket holders from 4 to 6 p.m. (pre-registration is required) , tours of the newly-renovated Iocolano-Petty Football Wing and a special roped-off viewing area on the sideline for the football practice. In addition, all children of season ticket holders (12 & under) are invited to form a fan tunnel to welcome the team on the field.
Â
The annual Syracuse Fan Fest will include the men's soccer team hosting an exhibition game against Georgetown at 4 p.m. followed by the Orange football team's annual pre-season camp practice and scrimmage at 6 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium. The event begins at 3 p.m.
Â
Admission is free and complimentary parking is available in Manley North and South lots.  Â
Â
Fan Fest will feature food and refreshments, prizes, in addition to men's soccer and football action at the stadium, which is located on the East Colvin Street side of Manley Field House. All fans will have an opportunity to register to win prizes, including two seats in the Athletics Department Suite for a 2015 home game.
Â
At Wohl Field, Syracuse's volleyball and women's soccer student-athletes will conduct interactive activities. There are inflatable bouncers for kids, former Syracuse football standouts will be on hand to meet and take photos, and the men's soccer team will host an autograph session following its exhibition game. All 'Cuse fans will have an opportunity to try on 2015 Orange football uniforms inside the Ensley Athletic Center. At 3 p.m., the Orange field hockey team will hold an open practice at Coyne Stadium followed by an opportunity to go on the field and interact with the student-athletes.
Â
Following the football scrimmage, fans are invited to join the team on the field for selfies with their favorite student-athletes and coaches.
Â
In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled.
