First Four Kickoff Times Announced for 'Cuse Football

The first four game times of Syracuse's 2026 football season have been announced, with all-four games set to air on national linear television.
Syracuse and New Hampshire will start the season on Sept. 5 in a Noon kickoff that will air on ACCN. A week later, Cal visits the JMA Wireless Dome to open conference play in a 3:30 p.m. kickoff, also on ACCN. Syracuse hits the road for the first time on Thursday, Sept. 17, facing Pittsburgh in a 7:30 p.m. game that will air on ESPN. 'Cuse will then travel to UConn on Oct. 3 for a Noon kickoff on CBS Sports Network.
Kickoff times for the remaining eight games on Syracuse's regular season schedule will be announced 12 days prior to kickoff. All game dates have now been confirmed following ESPN and the ACC's joint announcement last week, meaning all-six home games will fall on Saturdays this season.
Season tickets are on sale now for the 2026 season and can be purchased at Cuse.com/FootballTickets. Syracuse enters head coach Fran Brown's third season at the helm of the program, with six exciting games in the JMA Wireless Dome, including three programs that have reached the College Football Playoff within the last two years – Notre Dame, Clemson and SMU. The Orange will also host Cal, Louisville and New Hampshire. The six home opponents combined for a 65-percent winning percentage last season.
Syracuse returns a number of key pieces off last year's roster, including quarterback Steve Angeli – who was the nation's leading passer through four weeks, before an injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season. Defensively, freshman stars Antoine Deslauriers and Demetres Samuel Jr. return for sophomore seasons after breaking out in their rookie campaigns. Cornerback Chris Peal also returns, and has been projected as high as a first round pick in early 2027 NFL mock drafts.
The Orange also added one of its highest-ranked recruiting classes in program history and key transfer talent as additions to the 2026 squad.
