Former Syracuse standout Floyd Little was a star for the Orange in the 1960s, but he needs your help to be considered as the greatest athlete in Connecticut history.
SportzEdge, powered by News 8, is hosting a bracket-style tournament that currently has Little facing off against former NFL player Bob Skoronski in the Jim Calhoun Region. Help get Little into the fourth round by voting here.
Little, a New Haven native and running back for the Denver Broncos led the AFL in rushing in 1968 and '71. He was a two-time AFL All-Star and three-time AFC-NFC Pro Bowl selection. Spending his entire professional career with the Broncos, Little was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
In the first round of the tournament, Little defeated former Duke basketball star Mike Gminksi to move on to beat former ABA basketball player John Williamson in the second round.
Voting for the third round between Little and Skoronski ends on Monday, Aug. 3 at 3 p.m.
