Wide receiver Jarrod West becomes the second member of the 2014 Orange in Jets training camp
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – The New York Jets signed its second member of the 2014 Orange on Sunday, inking wide receiver Jarrod West to a free agent deal, the team announced.

West joins 'Cuse teammate Durell Eskridge in the team's training camp. Eskridge signed a free agent contract in May with the organization.

West led the Orange in receptions (49) and yards (700) in 2014, and finished his career ranked seventh in program history with 1,836 receiving yards. A native of Bethlehem, Pa., West went over the century mark twice last season, hauling in eight passes for 103 yards against Notre Dame and catching seven balls for a career-high 161 yards against NC State.

Syracuse opens the 2015 season at home on Friday, Sept. 4 against Rhode Island. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Carrier Dome. Season tickets and mini-packs are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). In addition, discounted group tickets (20 or more) for all home games can be purchased by calling 315-443-3212.
