Men's Basketball Schedule Announced

SYRACUSE, NY – The 2015-16 Syracuse men's basketball schedule, which features 17 regular-season home games, was announced along with the complete Atlantic Coast Conference schedule on September 2.
The Orange has Dome dates with nine conference foes: Clemson (Jan. 5), North Carolina (Jan. 9), Boston College (Jan. 13), Notre Dame (Jan. 28), Georgia Tech (Jan. 30), Virginia Tech (Feb. 2), Florida State (Feb. 11), Pittsburgh (Feb. 20) and NC State (Feb. 27). Syracuse's road encounters in the league feature matchups at Pittsburgh (Dec. 30), at Miami (Jan. 2), at Wake Forest (Jan. 16), at Virginia (Jan. 23), at Boston College (Feb. 14), at Louisville (Feb. 17), at North Carolina (Feb. 29) and at Florida State (Mar. 5).
The Syracuse home non-conference slate includes the Big10/ACC Challenge game with 2015 national finalist Wisconsin (Dec. 2), a matchup with 2015 NCAA Tournament participant Texas Southern (Dec. 27) as well as frequent Central New York foes Colgate (Dec. 8) and Cornell (Dec. 19).
Two former BIG EAST Conference rivals – Georgetown (Dec. 5) and St. John's (Dec. 13) – host the Orange at the Verizon Center and Madison Square Garden, respectively.
The Orange are part of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament in November. After playing Elon (Nov. 21) at home, Syracuse heads to the Bahamas and will play Charlotte (Nov. 25). Two additional games in the Bahamas follow.
Syracuse approaches the 2015-16 campaign with a streak of 44 consecutive winning seasons – the longest active streak in the Division I ranks. The Orange posted an 18-13 overall mark last year.
