SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The rv/-- Syracuse men's soccer squad tries to extend its unbeaten streak at the SU Soccer Stadium when it hosts Pittsburgh on Friday, Sept. 25. Opening kick is set for 7 p.m. Admission is free of charge.

SCOUTING THE ORANGE (4-2-1, 0-1-1)
Syracuse got back in the win column with a 3-1 victory against Binghamton on Tuesday at the SU Soccer Stadium. Three different players scored for the Orange, including freshman Kamal Miller, who netted his first career goal, which stood as the game winner. Sophomore Julian Buescher had an assist against the Bearcats, increasing his season total to a team-high four. He ranks 13th in the nation in total assists in the latest NCAA national rankings.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS (4-2-1, 0-2)
Pittsburgh defeated Robert Morris, 1-0 in double overtime, on Tuesday to snap a two-game losing streak. The Panthers enter Friday's game with a 4-2-1 overall record and a 0-2 mark in conference play. Tobias Heyman is Pittsburgh's leading scorer with six points. Both Heyman and Patrick Dixon have two goals, while Heyman leads the squad with two assists. Dan Lynd has played every minute in goal for the Panthers. He has recorded five shutouts this season and has a 0.81 goals-against average.
THE SERIES
Friday's match will be the 20th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Pittsburgh. The Panthers hold a slight 8-7-4 advantage in the series. Four of the last five matches between the two schools have gone to double overtime, including the 2013 game, which ended in a 0-0 tie.
