WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Syracuse will play three straight games on the road, beginning Saturday, Jan. 16 at Wake Forest. Tipoff is set for noon at JVMC Coliseum.

TOP FIVE STORYLINES
DEFENSE LEADS ORANGE TO VICTORY
Syracuse posted its first win in ACC play on Wednesday with a 62-40 victory against Boston College. The win improved the Orange's record to 11-7, 1-4 in league action. Syracuse allowed just three points and no field goals over a span of 10 minutes in the middle of the first half and held the Eagles to just 15 first-half points. Boston College had field goals on two consecutive possessions in the final 1:03 to play to avoid tying the record for the fewest points scored against the Orange since the Carrier Dome opened.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Junior Tyler Roberson posted his third double-double of the season in Syracuse's win against Boston College. He was 4-for-6 from the field on his way to 10 points. Roberson pulled down 12 rebounds, including five on the offensive end. He has now reached double figures in scoring in three straight games and four of the last five.

COLEMAN PROVIDES PUNCH IN THE MIDDLE
Senior DaJuan Coleman helped the Orange to a 34-14 advantage in points in the paint against Boston College with 14 points. He was 4-for-6 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free throw line for 11 points. He also pulled down five rebounds.

SCOUTING THE DEMON DEACONS
Wake Forest has lost two of its last three, including a 93-91 setback to Virginia Tech on Wednesday. The Demon Deacons enter Saturday's contest with an overall record of 10-6 and a 1-3 mark in ACC play. Devin Thomas is averaging a double-double, scoring 16.9 points and pulling down 10.4 rebounds per game. He also leads the squad with 31 blocks shots. Thomas is one of three players averaging double figures in scoring for Wake Forest. Bryant Crawford is contributing 13.2 points per game, while Dinos Mitoglou averages 12.0 per contest.

THE SERIES
Syracuse has won all three previous meetings with Wake Forest. The teams first met during the 2001-02 season, which resulted in a 74-67 Orange victory. Since joining the ACC, Syracuse has won both contests, including an 86-83 overtime victory last season in the Carrier Dome.
