DURHAM, N.C. – Syracuse goes for its third consecutive win when it takes on No. 9/6 Duke on Monday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

TOP FIVE STORYLINES
ORANGE CRUISE PAST WAKE FOREST
Syracuse is coming off one of its most dominant performances of the season. The Orange defeated Wake Forest on Saturday, 83-55, to improve its overall record to 12-7, including a 2-4 mark in ACC play. Syracuse never trailed in the contest and led by as many as 33. The Orange defense held the Demon Deacons to just two 3-pointers on 20 attempts and recorded 12 steals.

COONEY LEADS THE WAY
Graduate student Trevor Cooney made sure the Orange got off to a good start against Wake Forest, hitting 3-pointers on Syracuse's first two possessions. He hit five 3-pointers in the first half on his way to 21 points before intermission. Cooney finished the day with a season-best six 3-pointers and 25 points.

ROBERSON STRONG ON THE BOARDS
Junior Tyler Roberson grabbed a team-best 13 rebounds against Wake Forest, leading Syracuse to a 43-35 advantage on the boards. He also scored 16 points to record his second straight double-double. Roberson is averaging 8.5 rebounds per game, which rank ninth in the ACC.

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
Duke enters Monday's game on a two-game losing streak after a 95-91 loss to Notre Dame on Saturday. The Blue Devils are now 14-4 overall and 3-2 in ACC action.

Sophomore Grayson Allen leads the team and ranks second in the ACC in scoring, averaging 20.2 points per game. He is one of four active players averaging double figures in scoring. That group includes Brandon Ingram (16.8 ppg.), Matt Jones (13.1 ppg.) and Luke Kennard (12.9 ppg.). Senior Marshall Plumlee is Duke's man in the middle. He ranks 10th in the ACC in rebounding (7.4 rpg.) and sixth in blocked shots (1.89 bpg.).

THE SERIES
Duke leads the all-time series with Syracuse, 5-3. The teams have met four times since the Orange joined the ACC prior to the 2013-14 season. Syracuse won the first of those meetings, 91-89 in overtime in the Carrier Dome. The Blue Devils have the last three, including both games last season.
