CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Syracuse finishes up the final leg of its three-game road stretch against No. 13/13 Virginia on Sunday, January 24 at John Paul Jones Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

TOP FIVE STORYLINES
ORANGE UPSET DUKE
Syracuse improved its record to 13-7, 3-4 in conference play with a 64-62 upset of conference rival Duke last Monday. Four Orange players finished with 14 points each, and the defense held the Blue Devils to just 10-for-37 beyond the arc. With the upset, Syracuse captured its first win at Cameron Indoor Stadium as a member of the ACC.
ROBERSON RIDING HIGH
Junior Tyler Roberson pulled down a career-best 20 rebounds in Syracuse's win last Monday, marking the most ever for a visiting team player at Cameron Indoor Stadium since it was renamed in 1972. He also tallied 14 points for his third consecutive double-double.

EXPERIENCE WINS GAMES
Grad students Michael Gbinije and Trevor Cooney each recorded 14 points against Duke, with Cooney finishing with a game-high four three pointers. Gbinije recorded a game-high nine assists, and continues to rank fourth nationally in average minutes played with 37.8 per game.

SCOUTING THE CAVALIERS
Virginia has lost three of its last five games but is coming off a 69-62 victory against Clemson. The Cavaliers are 14-4 this season, including a 9-0 mark at home this season. Virginia is outscoring its opponents by an average of 14.4 points per game on its home court. The Cavaliers' strengths are in its defense and its efficiency on offense, ranking 12th in the nation in field goal percentage (.494) and 10th in scoring defense (61.2). Senior guard Malcolm Brogdon leads the way for Virginia, averaging 16.8 points per game, and junior London Perrantes leads the ACC in 3-point field goal percentage (.556).

THE SERIES
Syracuse and Virginia have split the previous six meetings between the two schools. Since joining the ACC, Syracuse has lost both games to the Cavaliers. Last year's meeting ended in a 59-47 victory for Virginia in the Carrier Dome.
