SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse returns to the Carrier Dome on Thursday, Jan. 28 to face Notre Dame for the first of a four-game homestead. Opening tip is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased on Cuse.com, by calling 1-888-DOMETIX or at Gate B of the Carrier Dome. The game will be televised on ESPN2 and ESPN3. Fans can listen to the game on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network and its flagship station, TK99 in Syracuse. Cuse TV will provide live audio of the game and fans can follow along with the live stats on Cuse.com.

TOP 5 STORYLINES TO FOLLOW
GBINIJE IS BACK
Gbinije remains a leading force for the Orange and a target among their opponents. In the Orange's last two road games against Duke and Virginia, Gbinije has led Syracuse in scoring, steals and assists. The point guard leads the ACC in steals this season and ranks fifth nationally with 53. He ranks third in the ACC in points, averaging 17.4 per game.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Freshman Malachi Richardson has been voted ACC Rookie of the Week following his performances on the road against Duke and Virginia. Against the Cavaliers, Richardson had a career-high 23 points, 18 of which came from behind the arc. The Trenton, N.J. native scored 14 points and grabbed six boards in the 64-62 road win against No. 20 Duke.

COMING HOME
Thursday's contest against Notre Dame is the first of a four-game homestand for the Orange. Syracuse will also play Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Florida State before going back on the road. The Orange are returning to the Carrier Dome after a three-game road stretch to Wake Forest, Duke and Virginia. Syracuse earned two wins on the road, posting victories at Wake Forest and No. 20 Duke. This season the Orange holds a winning record of 8-3 on Jim Boeheim Court.

SCOUTING THE FIGHTING IRISH
The Irish look to extend their four-game winning streak on Thursday. Notre Dame is coming off a 76-49 home victory against Boston College. The Fighting Irish are 5-2 in ACC play. The high-scoring squad has not scored less than 65 points in a contest this season.

Demetrius Jackson, Notre Dame's leading scorer, left the Boston College contest early with a hamstring injury. Junior guard Steve Vasturia stepped up in his absence with a 16-point performance. Vasturia has secured double digits in 16 of 19 games this season.

THE SERIES
Thursday marks the 47th meetings between the Orange and Fighting Irish. Syracuse leads the series 27-19. In their last meeting, the Orange beat the No. 9/8 Fighting Irish, 65-60, in South Bend. Rakeem Christmas became the 59th Syracuse player to reach 1,000 career points in the contest.
