SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse goes for its second straight victory on Saturday, Jan. 30 as it takes on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Jim Boeheim Court. The game is slated for 12 p.m.

FOR THREE
The Orange sank 10 shots from beyond the arc against Notre Dame on Thursday night. Syracuse has made at least 10 three-point shots in its last four games. The Orange rank first in the conference in 3-point field goals made. Trevor Cooney, Michael Gbinije and Malachi Richardson rank second, third and fifth, respectively, in the conference in 3-point field goals made.

Syracuse has been taking advantage of its second-chance opportunities. The Orange have averaged 14 second-chance points in the last five games. They have held their opponents to under 10 (9.2) second-chance points on average in those same five games.

Georgia Tech is on the road for its second straight road game. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 90-83 win at NC State. The victory was led by Marcus Georges-Hunt, who had 26 points. Georges-Hunt is the leading scorer for Georgia Tech, averaging 16.4 points a game. Senior forward Charles Mitchell leads the ACC in rebounds, averaging 10.9 per game.

The Orange and the Yellow Jackets meet for the seventh time on Saturday. The series is tied at three games apiece. The Orange evened the series in their last meeting in January of the 2014-15 season with a 46-45 victory in Atlanta. The game that featured 14 lead changes and nine ties.
