SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange football program features nine alums who are on current NFL rosters. Here's a quick recap of how they fared during Week 6 of the 2016 season:Â
Jay Bromley, New York GiantsÂ
- Had a season-high three tackles in the Giants' 27-23 win against Baltimore on Oct. 16.Â
Riley Dixon, Denver Broncos
- Punted five times for 221 yards (44.2 avg.) at San Diego on Oct. 13.
Dwight Freeney, Atlanta Falcons
- Made one tackle against Seattle on Oct. 16.
Chandler Jones, Arizona Cardinals
- Had two tackles in the Cardinals' 28-3 win against the New York Jets on Oct. 17.Â
- Tied for 15th in the league with four sacks in 2016.
Cameron Lynch, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Bye week. The Bucs will face San Francisco on Oct. 23.
Ryan Nassib, New York GiantsÂ
- Did not play vs. Baltimore on Oct. 16.
- Backup quarterback behind 13-year veteran Eli Manning.Â
Justin Pugh, New York Giants
- Started at left tackle in the Giants' 27-23 win against Baltimore on Oct. 16.Â
Andrew Tiller, San Francisco 49ers
- Played in San Francisco's 45-16 loss to Buffalo on Oct. 16.Â
Shamarko Thomas, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Did not play in Pittsburgh's game at Miami due to a groin injury he sustained on Oct. 9 against the New York Jets.Â
