SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange football program features nine alums who are on current NFL rosters. Here's a quick recap of how they fared during Week 7 of the 2016 season:Â
Jay Bromley, New York Giants
- Had a sack in the Giants' win against Los Angeles in London on Oct. 23.
Riley Dixon, Denver Broncos
- Punted six times for 255 yards (42.5 avg) in Denver's win against Houston on Oct. 24.
Dwight Freeney, Atlanta Falcons
- Made one tackle against San Diego on Oct. 23.
Chandler Jones, Arizona Cardinals
- Three solo tackles, including a sack, in the Cardinals' tie with Seattle on Oct. 23.
- Tied for 11th in the league with five sacks in 2016.
Cameron Lynch, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Played, but did not have any statistics in the Bucs' 34-17 win against San Francisco on Oct. 23.Â
Ryan Nassib, New York Giants
- Did not play versus Los Angeles in London on Oct. 23.
- Backup quarterback behind 13-year veteran Eli Manning.Â
Justin Pugh, New York Giants
- Started in the Giants' 17-10 win against the Rams in London on Oct. 23.
Andrew Tiller, San Francisco 49ers
- Played in San Francisco's game against Tampa Bay on Oct. 23.
Shamarko Thomas, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Missed his second straight game with an injury sustained against the Jets on Oct. 9.Â
