
'Cuse Fifth In ACC Preseason Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Syracuse has been picked fifth in the ACC Preseason Men's Basketball Poll, announced by the conference at the annual ACC Operation Basketball.
Duke earned 85 of 91 first-place votes to take the top in the preseason ranking. North Carolina followed, with six first-place nods. Virginia and Louisville took the third and fourth slots, respectively, ahead of Syracuse.
Sophomore forward Tyler Lydon earned a spot on the Preseason All-ACC Second Team.
Graduate student DaJuan Coleman and senior Tyler Roberson represented the Orange, along with Coach Boeheim, at ACC Operation Basketball.
The Orange open the exhibition portion of its schedule on Tuesday, Nov. 1, against Indiana (Pa.). After an exhibition with Le Moyne on Nov. 8, Syracuse opens it's regular campaign against Colgate on Nov. 11.
