Denver punter Riley Dixon booms career-long, 68-yard punt
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange football program features 10 alums who are on current NFL rosters. Here's a quick recap of how they fared during the eighth week of the 2016 season:Â
Jay Bromley, New York Giants
- Did not play, New York had its bye week.
Riley Dixon, Denver Broncos
- Punted five times for 239 yards (47.8 average), including a career-long, 68-yard boot.
Dwight Freeney, Atlanta Falcons
- Played, but did not record any statistics in Atlanta's win against Green Bay on Oct. 30.
Arthur Jones, Indianapolis Colts
- Played, but did not record any statistics against Kansas City on Oct. 30.

Chandler Jones, Arizona Cardinals
- Recorded one tackle at Carolina on Oct. 30.
- Tied for 16th in the league with five sacks in 2016.
Cameron Lynch, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Made one tackle against Oakland on Oct. 30.Â
Ryan Nassib, New York Giants
- Did not play, New York had its bye week.
Justin Pugh, New York Giants
- Did not play, New York had its bye week.
Andrew Tiller, San Francisco 49ers
- Did not play, San Francisco had its bye week.
Shamarko Thomas, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Missed his third straight game with an injury sustained against the Jets on Oct. 9.Â
