Kramer Cook (Quality Control - Recruiting)
Cook comes to Syracuse after working as the football recruiting and technology analyst at Coastal Carolina. He was elevated to that position in July 2016 after serving as the Chanticleers' senior recruiting and technology intern for a year. In those roles, Cook coordinated the program's on-campus recruiting efforts, managed official visits for prospective student-athletes and gave tours to recruits and their families. Additionally, Cook implemented a comprehensive training program for incoming freshmen to aid in their development as student-athletes. He also oversaw the social media content for the Chanticleers' Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat accounts.
Prior to his time at Coastal Carolina, Cook was a graduate assistant coach at Robert Morris from 2013-15 where mentored the defensive line and kickers. Cook assisted in the development of rush schemes and game plans for the Colonials, who boasted the NAIA's top-rated defense against the run in 2014 (75.8 ypg). Cook also organized the scout team offense each week and served as the team's head of recruitment for all junior-college prospects
Cook graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in coaching. In addition, he holds two graduate degrees from Robert Morris. Cooked earned a master's in sports administration in 2014 and a master's in management specialization in 2015.
Seth Reedy (Recruiting Assistant – Graphic Design)
Reedy most recently served as the director of recruiting communication for Southern Miss. He was responsible for developing all graphic design content for social media, recruiting and facilities. He produced more than 200 personalized recruiting graphics each week for the Golden Eagles and assisted the team's director of player personnel with the coordination of official and unofficial visits.
From 2014-16, Reedy held a similar position at Appalachian State. In addition to his social media and design duties for the Mountaineers, he also managed Appalachian State's student volunteer program, supervising a team of 25 members.
Reedy began his professional career as an operations assistant for the Arena Football League's Jacksonville Sharks during the spring of 2014. He graduated from the University of North Florida the same year with a bachelor's degree in sport management.
Steve Schrum (Quality Control - Recruiting)
Schrum comes to Syracuse from Akron where he served as the Zips' assistant recruiting coordinator since August. Schrum managed the team's recruiting database, wrote pitch letters to recruits, screened high school prospects and completed expense reports, travel itineraries and compliance forms.
Prior to working at Akron, Schrum was the recruiting assistant at Northwestern from March 2015 to August 2016, and served as the assistant recruiting coordinator at Towson from August 2014 to March 2015. In 2014, Schrum worked alongside Orange tight ends coach Reno Ferri, who was a Towson assistant coach and the program's recruiting coordinator at the time. Schrum and Ferri were responsible for landing the No. 1 recruiting class in the Colonial Athletic Association that year, according to 247Sports.com. In addition, Schrum facilitated gameday recruiting operations for the Tigers, oversaw student recruiting interns and planned official visits.
Schrum got his start in player personnel and recruiting by working as a personnel intern for the Baltimore Ravens for three summers (2010, 2012, 2014). He created scouting depth charts, managed the NFL roster board for General Manager Ozzie Newsome and assisted with football analytics.
While attending the University of Florida, Schrum interned with the Gators' football team and was the assistant to wide receivers coach Joker Phillips from 2012-14. Among Schrum's duties were managing Phillips' Twitter account and devising an offensive efficiency equation for play-calling.
