MADISON, Wis. – For the second consecutive year, No. 22/24 Syracuse and No 17/17 Wisconsin will meet in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge. This year's contest takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time at the Kohl Center in Madison.

FOR STARTERS
- Tuesday's game is the first true road game for Syracuse in 2016-17. The Orange played a neutral site game against South Carolina at the Barclays Center on Saturday.
- Syracuse dropped to No. 22 in the AP Poll and No. 24 in the USA Today/Coaches rankings after its first setback of the season against the Gamecocks.
- Graduate student Andrew White III had 10 points against South Carolina. He has reached double figures in scoring in all five games this season.
LAST TIME OUT
- Syracuse will look to return to its winning ways after its first setback of the season – a 64-50 loss to South Carolina in the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational.
- Sophomore Tyler Lydon led the Orange with a season-high 18 points to go along with seven rebounds. He was 5-for-12 from the floor, including 3-for-5 from behind the arc, and 5-for-6 from the free throw line.
- Sophomore Frank Howard reached double figures in scoring for the second straight game and third time this season with 10 points against the Gamecocks.
SCOUTING THE BADGERS
- Wisconsin enters Tuesday's game with a 5-2 record. The Badgers defeated Prairie View A&M on Sunday, rebounding from a 71-56 loss to No. 3/3 North Carolina in the championship game of the Maui Invitational.
- Three Wisconsin players average double figures in scoring, including Bronson Koening, who averages 14.4 points per game. Ethan Happ adds 11.9 points per game and is the team's leading rebounder (9.4 rpg.). In addition, Nigel Hayes, the Big 10 Preseason Player of the Year, is averaging 11.6 points per contest.
- Greg Gard is in his first full season at the helm of the Wisconsin program. He coached the final 23 games last season. He led the Badgers to 11 wins in their final 13 regular-season games and a trip to the 2016 Sweet 16. Gard was named the Jim Phelan National Coach of the Year.
SERIES RECORD
Syracuse and Wisconsin have split the previous four meetings between the two schools. Last season, the Badgers handed the Orange their first loss in 2015-16 in overtime at the Carrier Dome.
