SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse men's basketball team returns to the Carrier Dome for its final home contests of the regular season. The Orange face Atlantic Coast Conference rival --/rv Pittsburgh on Saturday, Feb. 20. Opening tipoff is slated for 2 p.m.

TOP FIVE STORYLINES
THE LOUD HOUSE
Syracuse holds a record of 12-3 in the friendly confines of the Carrier Dome this season. The Orange are on a five game winning streak on Boeheim Court, having last lost to No. 6/7 North Carolina in early January.

COONEY FOR THREE
Graduate student Trevor Cooney knocked down five 3-pointers against Louisville on Wednesday night to lead the Orange with 19 points on the night. The guard ranks second in the ACC for three-point field-goals made with 73 this season. He has converted a 3-pointer in 31 consecutive games, the fifth-longest active streak in Division I. Cooney tallied a season-high of six 3-pointers in the victory over Wake Forest earlier this season.

FRESHMEN FROM THE BENCH
The Orange freshmen continue to make big contributions from the bench. Guard Franklin Howard dished out six assists on Wednesday night against Louisville, tying his career high. Forward Tyler Lydon led the team in points and rebounds in an impressive performance against Boston College. The forward averages 9.6 points and 29.8 minutes a contest.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
The Panthers are coming off a thrilling 101-96 double overtime win over Wake Forest on Tuesday night. Pittsburgh is 2-4 on the road this season, losing to North Carolina, Miami, Clemson and Louisville in ACC play. The Panthers are 7-6 in conference play, sitting just behind the Orange in the ACC standings.

Junior forward Michael Young leads Pittsburgh in scoring and on the boards, averaging 16.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Redshirt junior Chris Jones recorded a career high 23-points in the victory over Wake Forest.

THE SERIES
The pair meet for the 108th time since their first meeting in 1914. Syracuse leads the series, 65-43. The Panthers took their last meeting, 72-61, in the first contest of conference play this season at the Peterson Events Center. Pittsburgh was ranked No. 25 by the USA Today Coaches' Poll for the contest.

The Orange will return to the court for their regular season home finale on Saturday, Feb. 27 to take on the NC State Wolfpack. Syracuse will be honoring its seniors in a pregame ceremony.
