
Women's Basketball Ranks #22 in the Nation

No. 22 Syracuse takes on Virginia next
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Following victories against Clemson and Georgia Tech, the Syracuse University women's basketball team ranks No. 22 in the country in the latest release of the USA Today Coaches Poll. It marks the highest the Orange have been ranked in the coaches' rankings this season.

After not recording any votes in the Associated Press Poll on Feb. 1, the Orange earned the second-most points among teams not ranked in the top 25 of the AP Poll in its latest release. Syracuse has received votes in all but one AP Poll this year.

Syracuse travels to Charlottesville, Va. for its next contest as it takes on Virginia on Thursday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Regional Sports Networks.
