
Syracuse Continues to Reach New Heights

Orange rank No. 17 in each major national poll
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's basketball team has continued to climb the national polls. Syracuse checks in at No. 17 nationally in the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Polls, its highest rankings in program history.

The Orange closed the 2015-16 regular season with a 23-6 overall record, matching the school record with 23 regular season victories. In addition, the squad finished in third place in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 13-3 mark in league play. It matched the most conference wins in program history, as well.

Syracuse will kick off postseason play in the quarterfinals of the 2016 ACC Tournament on Friday, March 4. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C. The game will be broadcast on the Regional Sports Networks.
