Orange Arrive in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS - The Syracuse men's basketball arrived in St. Louis on Wednesday ready for March Madness to begin!
The Orange practiced at the Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center Wednesday morning before departing. After settling into the team hotel, the players, coaches and staff attended a dinner together before resting up for Thursday's media session and open practice at the Scottrade Center. Syracuse is the No. 10 seed in the Midwest Region and will face No. 7 seed Dayton at 12:15 p.m. ET on Friday, March 18 at the Scottrade Center. The Syracuse-Dayton winner will play the winner of Michigan State and Middle Tennessee in the second round.
The Orange are making their 38th NCAA Tournament appearance overall and 32nd under Hall of Fame coach Jim Boeheim. SU has advanced to five Final Fours (1975, 1987, 1996, 2003, 2013) and three national championship games (1987, 1996, 2003), capturing the title in 2003.Â
