Two Named to Women's ACC All-Academic Team

The accolades continue for the track and field teams as Shaina Harrison and Sydney Leiher were named to the Women's Indoor Track and Field ACC All-Academic Team on Wednesday, bringing Syracuse's total to five honorees after three men were previously honored by the conference.
Harrison was a USTFCCCA Second Team All-American after placing 13th at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 60-meter dash in March. Harrison ran a 7.38 at the event, after qualifying with a second-place finish at the ACC Championships in a personal-best time of 7.29 seconds. Harrison is majoring in psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Leiher placed 4th in the mile at the ACC Championships with a time of 4:40.83. The Beavercreek, Ohio native also helped the Orange to a sixth place finish in the DMR at the conference championships as well. Leiher set a personal-best time in the mile at the Boston Valentine Invitational, with a mark of 4:39.14 this season. Leiher is majoring in sport management in David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics.
