Seven former Syracuse men's basketball players are currently competing in the NBA, including Carmelo Anthony (above). Michael Carter-Williams will miss the remainder of the season with a hip injury. Five former Syracuse men's basketball players are currently playing in various leagues overseas. C.J. Fair and Rakeem Christmas have competed in the NBA Development League for the Indiana Pacers affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. This week, Rakeem Christmas was recalled to join the Indiana Pacers.
