Syracuse will compete against the nation's top crews in Worcester, Mass.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 10 Syracuse University men's rowing team will compete at its annual conference championship, the Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges (EARC) Men's Sprints, on Sunday in Worcester, Mass.
Live results and video from the event will be available.
The EARC Men's Sprints consists of morning heats, followed by final races in the afternoon. The top-two crews from each heat in the morning advance to the grand finals, while the third and fourth-place boats will participate in the petite finals. The fifth and sixth-place crews will race in the third-level final.
Syracuse's top boat enters the conference championship ranked eighth in the final EARC seeding poll. The third varsity eight crew ranks ninth, while the second varsity eight boat notched the No. 11 seed.
Eight of the nation's top-10 first varsity eight boats are members of the EARC. In addition, 14 conference crews were ranked in the latest coaches' poll and 16 of the 18 league members received votes.
