Send a soldier to the Syracuse-NC State football game for $20
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – All Orange fans, donors, season-ticket holders and businesses are invited to team up with Syracuse Athletics to make 'Military Appreciation Day' on Saturday, Nov. 12 a truly special event by participating in the 'Cuse for the Troops' ticket program.
For $20 you can support this initiative and send one member of our armed forces to the Syracuse versus North Carolina State football game free of charge.Â
Click here or call the Carrier Dome Box Office at 888-DOMETIX to sponsor tickets for our servicemen and women today.
More than 500 tickets out of our goal of 5,000 have already been sponored, including five by College and Pro Football Hall of Famer Floyd Little. As a special thank you, Orange Club donors who participate will receive a credit of $20 toward their priority-point calculation for each ticket they sponsor.
The celebration of our nation's heroes gets underway with military-themed activities on the Quad prior to kickoff between the Orange and Wolfpack. Several more military service recognitions are planned for during the game.
'Cuse for the Troops' is the latest addition to the ever-expanding Syracuse Athletics Military Appreciation Program. Highlights of the program include 'Hometown Hero' presentations and the 'Military Pass,' which allows active military members and veterans access to free or discounted tickets. In recent years, the Syracuse football and men's basketball programs have also enjoyed a close relationship with the soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum.
This 2016 Syracuse home football schedule features six games. In addition to NC State, the Orange host Colgate (Sept. 2), Louisville (Sept. 9), USF (Sept. 17), Virginia Tech (Oct. 15) and Florida State (Nov. 19).Â
Season tickets are on sale now online, by phone (888-DOMETIX) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Tickets start at $99 ($16.50 per game) with lower-level seats in the end zones available for as little as $125.
Â
Single-game tickets for all home games except Florida State go on sale June 21. Tickets to watch the Orange and Seminoles are tentatively scheduled to go on sale July 26. Tickets start at $20 for non-conference games, $25 for the Louisville and NC State games, and $30 for the Virginia Tech and Florida State contests.
