
Fans Invited to Design 'Orange Out' T-Shirts

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – It's time to get creative 'Cuse fans!
Syracuse University Athletics is holding a contest to design the official 'Orange Out' t-shirt for the Sept. 9 football game against Louisville, and fans will be involved every step of the way! Fans are invited to submit designs for consideration and once the finalists are selected, Orange Nation will vote on the best design. Syracuse Athletics will provide a professional graphic designer to fine tune submissions, so contest entries should be based on a concept. The deadline for entries June 15.

The t-shirt featuring the winning design will be available for fans to wear to this year's Atlantic Coast Conference opener against the Cardinals. The winner of the contest will receive a prize package to the game. More details, including the entry form, official contest template, and rules are available at Cuse.com/OrangeOut.

Designs should emphasize the community's support for Syracuse football. It must be tailored for an orange t-shirt and is limited to one or two colors. The work must be completely original and appropriate.

Designs will be judged based on creativity, consistency with the 'Orange Out' theme and how well it portrays the dedication and teamwork of the Orange.

Fans can submit designs via email (JPEG or PDF file not larger than 20 MB) to TeamSU@syr.edu, or send a printed copy with the entry form to Syracuse Athletics 'Orange Out' T-Shirt Contest, Manley Field House, 1301 E. Colvin Street, Syracuse, NY 13244-5020.Â

Contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Individuals between the ages of 13 and 17 are invited to have a parent or legal guardian submit their entry. The contest is not open to Syracuse University employees, members of their immediate family or non-U.S. residents.
First-year head coach Dino Babers makes his Carrier Dome debut when the Orange host Colgate in their season opener on Friday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. Syracuse also welcomes USF to the Dome for a non-conference clash on Sept. 17. In addition to Louisville, the home ACC schedule also features Virginia Tech (Oct. 15), North Carolina State (Nov. 12) and Florida State (Nov. 19).
Season tickets for Syracuse football are on sale now online, by phone (888-DOMETIX) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Tickets start at $99 ($16.50 per game) with lower-level seats in the end zones available for as little as $125.

Single-game tickets for all home games except Florida State go on sale June 21. Tickets to watch the Orange and Seminoles are tentatively scheduled to go on sale July 26. Tickets start at $20 for non-conference games, $25 for the Louisville and NC State games, and $30 for the Virginia Tech and Florida State contests.
