Six Orange Alums Tabbed as MLL All-Stars

Syracuse's six selections is the most of any program
Six Orange alums have been selected to the 2016 MLL All-Star Game, the league announced on Tuesday.
Syracuse's six representatives are tied with Maryland for the most of any program. No other school has more than three representatives of the 40 players selected to participate in the event.
The 'Cuse alums selected to participate are John Galloway (Rochester), Joel White (Rochester), Matt Abbott (Chesapeake), JoJo Marasco (New York), Randy Staats (Atlanta) and Kevin Rice (Atlanta).
The game is set to take place on July 9 at Titan Stadium on the campus of Cal State Fullerton in Fullerton, California. The 40 players will be broken up into two 20-man teams in a 'fantasy draft' the night prior to the contest.
The 2016 All-Stars were nominated and voted onto the All-Star Game Roster by head coaches and general managers representing each of the league's nine teams. The overall roster consists of eight attackmen, 14 midfielders, 10 defenders, four goalies and four face-off specialists.
To date, 18 former Orange standouts have suited up in an MLL game so far this season.
