Robinson, U.S. Claim Under-20 Men's NTC Invitational Title

CARSON, Calif. – Syracuse rising sophomore Miles Robinson and the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team won the 2016 NTC Invitational last weekend in Carson, Calif. The squad defeated Japan, 2-1, on Sunday, July 3 to claim the title.

Japan took the early lead in the sixth minute. It was the only goal that Robinson and the Team USA defense allowed in the tournament. The U.S. responded in the 20th minute to even the score and tallied the game winner in the 56th minute.

Team USA was unbeaten in the NTC Invitational, defeating Costa Rica (2-0), Panama (4-0), and Japan. Japan finished second, while Panama was third.
