Jarrod West Joins Tennessee

West ranks seventh in SU history in career receiving yards
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Former Orange wide receiver Jarrod West signed with the Tennessee Titans, the team announced on Wednesday. In addition to West, the Titans also announced the signing of wide receiver Donte Foster. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This marks the third NFL franchise that West has been a part of in his professional career. The Bethlehem, Pa. native spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets in 2015.

At Syracuse, West recorded 134 receptions for 1,836 yards and four touchdowns from 2011-14. He ranks seventh in program history in career receiving yardage. In addition, his streak of 18 consecutive games with a reception ranks ninth in the Orange annals.

Tennessee returns to the field for a preseason game on Saturday, Aug. 20 against the NFC champion Carolina Panthers. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. EST in Nashville. The Titans open the 2016 regular season against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. EST. Â
