Syracuse-UConn Game Time Announced

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Orange hits the road for the first time in 2016 when they take on former BIG EAST rival Connecticut at Rentschler Field Saturday, Sept. 24. The game will kick off at 1 p.m. and be televised by the CBS Sports Network, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Monday, Sept. 12.
Syracuse won the most recent meeting between the two teams, topping the Huskies 40-10 at the Carrier Dome in 2012. The Orange have never won in four previous trips to Rentschler Field.
The Orange are 1-1 and host USF this Saturday. The Huskies also carry a 1-1 record into their game against Virginia this weekend.
Tickets for Saturday's USF game are available online, by phone (888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). The game is the centerpiece of Syracuse University's Orange Central Weekend (Homecoming) and kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
