Lynch Added to Tampa Bay Practice Squad

TAMPA, Fla. – Former Orange linebacker Cameron Lynch was signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad, the team announced yesterday. Lynch joined the 10-man unit, along with tight end Alan Cross.

Lynch spent his 2015 rookie season with the Rams. He played in all 16 games, primarily on special teams, and recorded four tackles. He was waived by Los Angeles on Sept. 3 during the league-wide roster cutdown to 53 players.

At Syracuse, Lynch recorded 243 tackles, 31 tackles for a loss, and 17 sacks in four seasons from 2011-14. As a senior captain, he led the Orange with 97 tackles, including 12 for a loss, and seven quarterback takedowns.

The Buccaneers are 1-0 after defeating Atlanta 31-24 during Week 1 of the NFL season. They head to Arizona this weekend for a Sunday afternoon showdown with the Cardinals.
