
Syracuse-Notre Dame Kick Time Announced

Orange and Irish to meet at noon Oct. 1
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The 2016 New York's College Classic between Syracuse and Notre Dame at MetLife Stadium will kick off at noon on Saturday, Oct. 1, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced today. The game will be televised live on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
Notre Dame leads the all-times series between the two schools by a narrow 4-3 margin. At neutral sites, the series is tied at one win apiece. Syracuse defeated Notre Dame 14-7 at Yankee Stadium in 1963. In the most recent pairing, the Irish topped the Orange at MetLife Stadium in 2014 by the score of 31-15.
Both teams are currently 1-2. Syracuse travels to the Nutmeg State this weekend to face the Connecticut Huskies, while the Irish host Duke at Notre Dame Stadium.
