Orange in the NFL: Week 2

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Eight former members of the Orange football program took the field during the second week of the 2016 NFL season. Here's a quick recap of how they fared:

Jay Bromley, New York Giants
- Played, but did not record any statistics in New York's win against New Orleans on Sept. 18.

Riley Dixon, Denver Broncos
- Punted two times for 98 yards in Denver's victory against Indianapolis on Sept. 18.

Dwight Freeney, Atlanta Falcons
- Played his second game in an Atlanta uniform at Oakland on Sept. 18.

Chandler Jones, Arizona Cardinals
- One tackle in Arizona's win against Tampa Bay on Sept. 18.

Ryan Nassib, New York Giants
- Did not play against New Orleans on Sept. 18.
- Backup quarterback behind 13-year veteran Eli Manning.

Justin Pugh, New York Giants
- Started at left guard in New York's victory against New Orleans on Sept. 18.

Andrew Tiller, San Francisco 49ers
- Started his second straight game for San Francisco at Carolina on Sept. 18.

Shamarko Thomas, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Made one tackle in Pittsburgh's win against Cincinnati on Sept. 18.
