SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse junior linebacker Zaire Franklin is joined by a different member of the Orange football team in the Cuse TV weekly feature, Z60. In the third installment, Franklin's guest is sophomore defensive back Kielan Whitner.
Whitner led the Orange in tackles through the first two games of the season. The Lawrenceville, Ga. native had eight tackles and a fumble recovery against Louisville on Sept. 9 and six tackles against Colgate on Sept. 2. Last season, Whitner led all Syracuse true freshmen with 33 tackles.
Franklin, Whitner and the rest of the Orange are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they play Notre Dame at MetLife Stadium in the New York's College Classic. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.
