
Orange in the NFL: Week 17

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Orange football program features seven alums who are currently active on NFL rosters. Here's a quick recap of how they fared during during the final week of the 2016 regular season:
Jay Bromley, New York Giants
- Had one tackle in New York's 19-10 win at Washington.
- Giants are the No. 5 seed in the NFC and will face Green Bay this Sunday in the playoffs.Â
Riley Dixon, Denver Broncos
- Punted five times for a total of 224 yards (44.8 avg.) in Denver's 24-6 win against Oakland.
- Finished his rookie campaign ninth in the NFL in net punting average (41.3) and fourth in yards (4,068).Â
Dwight Freeney, Atlanta Falcons
- Played, but did not record a statistic in Atlanta's 38-32 win against New Orleans.
- The Falcons earned the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs and have a bye this weekend.Â
Chandler Jones, Arizona Cardinals
- Registered two tackles, including 1.5 sacks, in the Cardinals' 44-6 win at Los Angeles.
- Jones notched 49 tackles, forced four fumbles and tied for eighth in the NFL with 11 sacks.Â
Cameron Lynch, Tampa Bay BuccaneersÂ
- Played, but did not record a statistic in Tampa Bay's 17-16 win against Carolina.
- Tallied three tackles in 12 games for the Bucs in 2016.Â
Justin Pugh, New York Giants
- Started for the third straight game in the Giants' 19-10 win at Washington.
- Giants are the No. 5 seed in the NFC and will face Green Bay this Sunday in the playoffs.Â
Andrew Tiller, San Francisco 49ers
- Did not play in the 49ers' 25-23 loss to Seattle.
- Saw action in 15 games in 2016, starting seven.Â
