Inside Lacrosse Picks 'Cuse Third in ACC, Puts Two on Preseason Team

Two-time defending ACC Champions, the Syracuse men's lacrosse team was picked third by Inside Lacrosse Staff in their Face-Off Yearbook Preseason ACC Poll, with a pair of Orange standouts earning Preseason All-ACC accolades from the publication.
2016 All-American midfielder Sergio Salcido and standout defenseman Nick Mellen were picked by the outlet as Syracuse's representatives on the Preseason All-ACC squad. The official Preseason All-ACC teams and ACC Preseason Poll as voted on by the league's head coaches will be released in the coming weeks.
North Carolina, which was selected as the No. 1 team in the Nike/USILA Coaches Poll on Monday, was also selected by Inside Lacrosse as the league preseason favorite, followed by Notre Dame. Duke and Virginia round out the preseason poll in succession behind SU.
