Orange in the NFL - Week 10 - Syracuse University Athletics

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Eight former members of the Syracuse University football program, including former head coach and offensive lineman Doug Marrone, were in action during Week 10 of the 2017 NFL season.

Chandler Jones continues to be a force for the Cardinals' defense, tallying a sack for the fifth consecutive game as Arizona squared off against Seattle on Thursday night. Jones is currently third in the NFL with 10 sacks.

Below is a quick recap of how the rest of Syracuse's football alums fared last weekend:

Jay Bromley, DT, New York Giants
- Credited with a tackle at San Francisco on Nov. 12.

Riley Dixon, P, Denver Broncos
- Averaged 47.5 yards on two punts, landing one inside the 20, against New England on Nov. 12.

Dwight Freeney, DE, Seattle Seahawks
- Played, but did not record any statistics in Seattle's 22-16 win over Arizona on Nov. 9.

Chandler Jones, OLB, Arizona Cardinals
- Notched a sack for the fifth consecutive game at Seattle on Nov. 9.

Justin Pugh, OL, New York Giants
- Started his eighth game of the season at San Francisco on Nov. 12.

Cameron Lynch, LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Played, but did not record any statistics in Tampa Bay's 15-10 victory over the New York Jets on Nov. 12.

Shamarko Thomas, DB, Buffalo Bills
- Played, but did not record any statistics against New Orleans on Nov. 12.

Doug Marrone, Head Coach, Jacksonville Jaguars
- Coached the Jaguars to a 20-17 overtime victory against the Los Angeles Chargers on Nov. 12.
