SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Seven former members of the Syracuse University football program, including former head coach and offensive lineman Doug Marrone, were in action during Week 16 of the 2017 NFL season.
Rams linebacker Cameron Lynch recorded a special teams tackle in Los Angeles' 27-23 win against Tennessee Sunday. Signed by the Rams earlier this month after being released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Lynch has played in two games for Los Angeles since rejoining the organization. He played in all 16 games for the club in 2015 after signing with the Rams as an undrafted free agent.
With its victory over the Titans, Los Angeles (11-4) captured the NFC West title.Â

Jay Bromley, DT, New York Giants
- Carded two tackles, including one for a loss, against Arizona on Christmas Eve.

Riley Dixon, P, Denver Broncos
- Averaged 44.2 yards on five punts and placed two inside the 20 in Denver's Christmas Eve loss at Washington.

Dwight Freeney, DE, Detroit Lions
- Played, but did not record any statistics on Christmas Eve at Cincinnati.

Chandler Jones, OLB, Arizona Cardinals
- Made two tackles and credited with one pass breakup in Arizona's win over the New York Giants on Christmas Eve.
Cameron Lynch, LB, Los Angeles Rams
- Had one tackle on special teams to help Los Angeles defeat Tennessee 27-23 on Christmas Eve.

Shamarko Thomas, DB, Buffalo Bills
 - Registered a special teams tackle in Buffalo's 37-16 loss to New England on Christmas Eve.
Doug Marrone, Head Coach, Jacksonville Jaguars
 - The Jaguars lost on Christmas Eve to San Francisco, 44-33. Jacksonville is 10-5 and locked in as the No. 3 seed for the AFC playoffs.
