SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse and Eastern Michigan matchup in the Carrier Dome on Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. Tickets for all Orange home games are available online at Cuse.com, by phone at 1-888-DOMETIX or in person at Gate B at the Carrier Dome.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 and the Watch ESPN app. Fans can also listen to the broadcast on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network.

For Starters
- Syracuse suffered its second setback of the season in overtime against St. Bonaventure on Friday. The Orange enter Wednesday's game with a 10-2 record and an 8-1 mark at home.

- Freshman Oshae Brissett has recorded a double-double in two of his last three contests and averages 21.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game over the stretch. Sophomore Tyus Battle leads the Orange with 19.9 points per game, junior Frank Howard has a team-high 73 assists and Brissett has a team-leading 9.8 boards per game.

- Wednesday's game marks the sixth all-time meeting between Syracuse and Eastern Michigan. The Orange own a 4-1 advantage in the series and have won the last four matchups. Syracuse won the last meeting between the two schools, 105-57, in 2016.

Scouting the Eagles
- Eastern Michigan has won three of its last four games and sits at 8-3 on the year. The three wins over the streak came against Oakland, Central State and Long Beach State.

- The Eagles feature a balanced offensive attack, with four players averaging double-figure scoring. Elijah Minnie leads the way with 18.0 points per game and he's followed by James Thompson IV (17.7 ppg.), Paul Jackson (17.0 ppg.) and Tim Bond (10.7 ppg). Jackson leads Eastern Michigan with 53 assists on the season and Thompson IV has a team-high 12.4 rebounds per game.

- Rob Murphy, a former Syracuse assistant coach, is in his seventh season as head coach at Eastern Michigan. Murphy holds a 99-83 record over his time with the Eagles and helped coach Thompson IV to the MAC Freshman of the Year honor last season.

Syracuse returns to the Carrier Dome to open up ACC play against Virginia Tech on Sunday, Dec. 31 at 6 p.m.
