Orange Remain No. 6 in Maverik Media Poll

After posting its third-straight one-goal win at then No. 14 Johns Hopkins on Saturday, the Syracuse men's lacrosse team (5-1, 1-0 ACC) remained No. 6 in the Maverik Media Poll this week. It sets up a home matchup with No. 11 Duke on Saturday in the Carrier Dome.
Rutgers is No. 1 in this week's shaken-up poll, collecting 660 points and seven first place votes. They're followed by Notre Dame (647 points and 10 first place votes), Penn State (642 points, 11 first place votes), Ohio State (630 points, six first place votes) and Hofstra (550 points, one first place votes) in rounding out the top-five ahead of 'Cuse.
Syracuse garnered 542 points and one first place vote in this week's poll.
In addition to No. 2 Notre Dame, who Syracuse will face in two weeks, and No. 11 Duke, 'Cuse future opponents North Carolina (No. 14) and Binghamton (receiving votes) are represented in this week's poll as well.
The Orange has already defeated No. 9 Albany, No. 15 Virginia and No. 17 Johns Hopkins, while dropping a one-goal decision to No. 8 Army earlier this year as well.
Face off between the Orange and Blue Devils is slated for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at the Carrier Dome Box Office, by visiting Cuse.com/tickets or by calling 888-DOMETIX.
